Impact-driven video journey

We test stage by stage — and measure what changes in your sales

Most tools render one video and hope it fits. Buust starts small, measures how your real sales figures change after the video — right on your listing — and only unlocks the next, more expensive stage where the numbers hold up. Five stages from a quick clip to a cinema spot, each measured on the marketplace.

  • Start with a free Classic video
  • Real uplift, not vanity metrics
  • Next stage only when it pays off

The same product, five stages — from a phone snapshot to an agency production.

The problem

Making a video is easy — knowing whether it works is not

You can render a hundred videos. But which one deserves the expensive voice, which one the studio scene — and which just burns credits without adding a single sale? Without measurement, every decision is gut feeling.

  • Expensive videos on a hunch. Voice, studio scenes, animation all cost credits. You cannot tell from a product which listing they will pay off on — so you often pay for effort that delivers nothing.
  • Vanity metrics say nothing about sales. Likes and views feel good, but they pay no bills. Whether a video actually lifts your listing’s conversion rate, no vanity metric will tell you.
  • More effort ≠ more revenue. The most elaborate stage is not automatically the best. Sometimes the plain clip sells better than the cinema spot — without a comparison you never notice.

With Buust

  • Start small, measured for free. The journey begins with the Classic video (Tier-0) and reads the first truth: video versus no video, straight from your conversion rate.
  • Real uplift from the marketplace. Buust compares the sales figures before and after the video — impressions and actual conversions from the listing, calculated in basis points, not invented.
  • Next stage only when it pays off. Only once a stage’s measured numbers clear the threshold does Buust unlock the next, more expensive one. No burning credits, no gut-feel decisions.
Features

A journey that knows when to move up — and when not to

Buust measures, decides and escalates a stage — automatically on request, always with you at the wheel. Three mechanisms make it possible.

Real sales uplift, not vanity metrics

Buust reads your listing’s conversion rate before and after the video. It compares a pre-window (days before publishing) with the post-window after — on real marketplace data, not likes.

  • Impressions + real conversions from the listing, in basis points
  • Six measurement windows: 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 and 90 days
  • On thin data the journey stays in wait mode — rather than deciding wrong

Auto-promote — but only above the threshold

If the uplift clears your minimum, Buust builds the next stage and replaces the video automatically. With auto off, you get an email with the uplift figure and promote in one click.

  • Auto-promote configurable per org or per listing
  • Minimum uplift and measurement days overridable per listing
  • Reversibly pausable via the connection rule “auto-optimization off”

Diminishing-returns protection

If a more expensive stage delivers less uplift than the previous one, the effort was not worth the money. Buust spots that and returns to the better stage — automatically only if you have explicitly enabled it, otherwise on a click.

  • Tier-N+1 below Tier-N → rollback decision
  • Auto-rollback only with the org flag set — the default is conservatively off
  • Without auto: the journey pauses with a clear reason and you click “rollback”
5 stages, one journey

From the free clip to the cinema spot — earned stage by stage

Every stage is a bet of its own — and Buust only places it once the previous one has paid off. That way you never pay for an expensive stage that delivers nothing, and you still reach the top when your product can carry it.

  1. 1

Quick sales video — measured for free

    Classic

From your existing photos: title, price, USPs as a smooth reel, right on the listing. The first read — video versus no video — is free.

  2. 2

    With a real voice

    Voice

A narrated sales script per product. A real voice explains the benefits — you hear it instead of just reading it. Multilingual listings get voiced in their own language.

  3. 3

Studio scenes instead of a living-room photo

    Cinematic

Your product in a studio setting instead of a home photo. It looks premium and lifts how your product is perceived.

  4. 4

Real motion instead of a still

    Studio

Short lifestyle scenes show your product in real use — full attention, like a genuine ad spot.

  5. 5

    Your product animated

    Studio Pro

Your original photos become a moving hero video for your brand — it looks like an agency production. Available in the larger plans.

How the journey decides

Measure

Buust reads the real sales figures of your listing before and after the video — impressions and conversions from the marketplace, in basis points. If the data is not enough, it waits rather than guesses.

Decide

If the uplift clears your threshold, the next stage is worth it. Below it, the journey pauses — the previous stage was the optimum. If a more expensive stage delivers less than the previous one, it rolls back.

Promote

Auto-on: Buust builds the next stage and replaces the video. Auto-off: you get an email with the uplift figure and click once. You always keep control.

How it goes

How a journey runs itself

You tag a product — the evaluator handles the rest in the background.

  1. 01

    Tag the product

You pick your product. Buust renders the free Classic video from the photos already in the listing and publishes it.

  2. 02

    Buust measures the uplift

The evaluator compares the conversion rate before and after the video. With enough data a decision is made — otherwise it waits for the next tick.

  3. 03

    Stage up — or back

Above the threshold the next stage is unlocked (automatically or on a click). If a stage delivers less than the previous one, it rolls back.

  4. 04

    Up to the optimum

The cycle continues until your plan maximum is reached or a stage no longer pays off. What remains is the video with the best measured sales numbers.

One-video-and-hope vs. the Buust journey

How video tools usually decide — and how Buust does it.

One video, one shot

  • Guessed a stage and hoped it fits
  • Credits for expensive videos that might deliver nothing
  • Likes and views as the only measure of success
  • More effort counts as automatically better
  • No way back when the expensive stage is weaker

With the Buust journey

  • Start free, every stage measured on the listing
  • Next stage only once the previous one has paid off
  • Real sales uplift from the marketplace in basis points
  • Diminishing-returns protection spots when more delivers less
  • Automatic rollback to the better stage — when you want it
FAQ

Common questions

What exactly does Buust measure — and where do the numbers come from?

Buust compares your listing’s real conversion rate before and after the video: a pre-window (days before publishing) against the post-window after. The basis is impressions and actual sales from the marketplace, calculated in basis points — no likes, no vanity metrics. If the data is not yet enough, the journey stays in wait mode rather than deciding wrong.

Does Buust unlock the expensive stages automatically?

Only if you have set it up that way. Auto-promote can be enabled per org and per listing — and even then Buust only moves up when the uplift clears your minimum threshold. With auto off, you get an email with the concrete uplift figure and promote in one click. You always keep control.

What happens if the next stage performs worse?

That is exactly what the diminishing-returns protection is for: if a more expensive stage delivers less uplift than the previous one, the effort was not worth the money. Buust then returns to the better stage. That happens automatically only if you have explicitly enabled auto-rollback — the default is deliberately conservative: Buust pauses with a clear reason and you click the rollback yourself.

Are all five stages available in every plan?

The free Classic video (Tier-0) is measured in every plan. The Starter plan opens the stages up to Cinematic/Studio; the most elaborate stage, Studio Pro, is reserved for Pro and Agency plans because it costs more credits per spot than the Starter quota allows each month. Pro and Agency have all five stages.

Can I stop or adjust the journey at any time?

Yes. You can override the minimum uplift threshold and the measurement days per listing and pause auto-optimization at any time, reversibly, via the connection rule. If an A/B test is running on a product, Buust holds promotion and rollback anyway, so the experiment stays clean.
